We do recommend this property. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The deluxe studio overlooks swimming pool and includes tea and coffee making equipment, a fridge, and a washing machine. It has a lovely bed and a clean bathroom. The service is exceptional, includes private parking. Besides, guests can park cars onsite;)))

Rama Garden is perfectly located between Seminyak and Kuta, both accessible by foot (15 minutes walk). Just outside the hotel is a busy street (but not too noisy) with shops, family bars (live music) and restaurants. The beach is 300 meters away too. The rooms are clean, and though not incredible, cute and well-decorated. Good swimming pool. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
The food in the restaurant is not very good compared to that of other joints in the street. The Wifi was not working from my bedroom so I had to go downstairs in the lobby.

Location was very good if you want to be central to Kuta and Seminyak, Hotel staff friendly and would try to help if asked for extra needs. Renovated rooms are clean, fresh and nicely setup, with that special touch of not always quite right Bali style tradesmanship.
If your fussy, or picky, or demanding there is lots to find wrong, mostly minor things, like not having enough pool towels so that the few people there could all have one. You may like the linen and towels laundered with more vigor, or the breakfast to actually have enough food to last past 8am. But ask for a renovated room, and beware the hotel is partially under construction for at least a few more months (from mar 2012) so it can get pretty noisy. Will be good when finished !
